Tragedy struck several families in Rajasthan as five people from the state lost their lives in the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.
Among the deceased were Shubh Modi and Shagun Modi, the son and daughter of Udaipur-based marble businessman Sanjeev Modi. The siblings were on their way to London for a holiday when the disaster occurred.
Also onboard were Vardichand Menaria and Prakash Menaria, both residents of Udaipur who worked as chefs in London.
Another victim was Khushboo Rajpurohit, a native of Balotra. She was traveling back to rejoin her husband, a doctor based in London.
The heartbreaking news has left families in deep mourning across Rajasthan, as they await official confirmation and further support from authorities.
Passenger Akash Vats Spotted Faults on the Same Air India Dreamliner Before the Crash
Akash Vats, a passenger who had previously traveled on the same Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, has come forward with a concerning statement.
He said, "I had noticed several issues on this aircraft during my flight. The seat’s touch screen was not working, and the buttons were faulty. I had recorded a video and intended to send it to Air India. I wanted to share more details regarding the technical faults. Please reach out to me."
His statement could prove crucial in understanding the possible technical lapses before the crash.
